More About
The Lock & Lantern

The Metropolitan pub, now known as The Lock & Lantern, is a historic Westbourne Park establishment built around 1865, named for the new Metropolitan Railway (now Circle/Hammersmith & City lines) that spurred its development, serving locals and railway workers from its original address at 1 Ladbroke Grove Road and retaining much of its Victorian character with a prominent red granite surround.

It has seen various operators, including being run by a long line of GMs dating back to the 1860s and more recently run by Aldrich Inns, offering cask ales and modern keg options in its historic setting near Westbourne Park Station.
